This is a documentary about a peculiar European journey - a  journey which begins in Bangladesh and ends in Italy. Some Bangladeshi migrants - the lucky ones - are able to go directly to Italy.  There are others who are less fortunate and they travel via Greece or Turkey or Libya or Russia. They encounter hazardous seas, detention centers, ruthless traffickers and at some point - Italian law. That is the other journey I want to describe in this documentary - that taken by Italian society.  This film - the working title of which is “A peculiar European journey” - is about these two journeys.
